FLIGHTS

Our regional Airport in Crete is Chania Airport.

An easy way to search for flights is by using the online search engine SKYSCANNER

The cheapest and simplest way from Chania Airport to Paleochora is to catch a KTEL bus located few yards to the right as soon as you exit Chania Airport Arrivals.

The bus costs around €5 and takes you to the main Chania Bus Terminal in around 20mins.

You will then need to purchace a ticket for Paleochora which costs around €9. The bus takes aound 1hr 30 mins.

The last bus to from Chania to Paleochora is currently at 16:00, but that might change in May/June 2019 so keep checking with the KTEL WEBSITE closer to your departure date

There is an excellent reasonably Restaurant, Bakery and Coffee Shop inside the Chania Bus terminal.

If you arrive later in Chania, it's probably best to book a room for the Night. It's a gorgeous Venetian City, so well worth a stop-over. You'll find reasonable room rates at Booking.com

Apart from direct flights, an alternative would be to fly to Athens and get a connecting domestic Flight to Chania.

There is also the option of flying into Heraklion Airport in Crete, just bear in mind it will add around 3hrs to your Bus/Road Travel down to Paleochora. Sometimes you'll find cheaper flights into Heraklion, so again it's either a relaxing Bus trip direct fom the Airport to Chania, or Car Hire if you prefer.

If your budget stretches to a TAXI , we highly recommend booking with local Paleochora Taxi company

PSARAKIS TRAVEL If there are a few of you traveling together, this will be the fastest and most comfortable option. Current discounted rates are around €85 from Chania Airport to Paleochora.
